Cultural accessibility is a fundamental constitutional right of every person, and theater plays an essential role in connecting the community through the arts. Deaf and hard of hearing people face numerous barriers to enjoying theater performances, which limits their opportunities to participate in cultural life.
For this reason, in recent years, the Foundation’s team of performers have made more than 15 plays accessible, an initiative that we want to make a habit. We hope that theaters will continue to open their doors more widely and promote inclusion and equal access to the arts with us.
Our performers are dedicated to conveying every emotional and artistic detail of the performances, ensuring a complete and authentic experience for all hearing-impaired audiences.
